PlayNetwork designed a brand sound for Le Pain Quotidien which reflects the peaks & valleys in customer traffic and flow. Major & minor keys also shift with the parts of the day to elicit contemplative lulls which will inspire customers to think, pause and reflect.
Throughout the day the music shifts in energy, style & prominence. When restaurants are bustling the Classical music will be oriented toward major works, larger groups & major keys. When restaurants are calm, the Classical music will become more tender & intimate. The peaks in Jazz content are driven by energy, with more uptempo & lively songs played during peak times. During lulls, the Jazz will be more subdued, slightly less energetic & more introspective.
